An iconic Georgian Dublin Door worked in a heavily embroiderd play with colour and stitch type in Deborah's 'painting with thread' style. 
 
This one off piece is a mix of complimetnary colours to the door, surrounding windows, fan light and brick detail, including a play with colour to capture the idea of painting with thread. It is finished in a hand painted timber frame, allowing a slightly larger shadow gap to give space to the heavy style of embroidery. The frame is painted using Farrow and Ball - Hague Blue. 
 
Embroidered onto Basket Weave Irish Linen woven in Northern Ireland.
 
This piece is canvas mounted and tray framed and strung to hang or it can simply stand alone. 
 
This finished framed piece measures 41.5 cm x 28.5 cm.
